This is a now page, and if you have your own site you should consider making one too. It is late 2018, and I am in London, UK.

What am I up to?

I am working as a Business Consultant at Atos Consulting. I am part of the Digital Transformation team and currently working 100% on delivery.

Atos are currently sponsoring me to complete the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis, which consists of four exams on content such as Requirement Engineering, Stakeholder Engagement, Balance Sheets, and Discounted Cash Flows. The syllabus is full of beneficial knowledge that is having a direct impact on my ability to be effective.

I am progressing through AJAC's Wolverine Program, which is a five-month weightlifting program designed to build strength.

The objective is to get some air miles under my belt - I am trying to play at least 9 holes of Golf every weekend. I have just finished the Academy at Wimbledon Common Golf Club, which is designed to introduce new players to the game of golf.

The academy was a string of ten 2 hour golf lessons every other Sunday. It took me from understanding very little about golf to being able to have a reasonable guess at diagnosing how I can improve any given shot.

The next mission is to play lots of golf so that I can understand which errors are consistent, and therefore need to be resolved.

The blog is part of an effort to write more frequently. I am starting to pull together notes and articles to share on this blog.

Reading The Economist

I am lucky enough to have been given a gift subscription to The Economist. Amazingly, despite all the world-explaining knowledge contained in each issue, I am having to work on the habit of reading it each week.
